Codogotchi is a macOS menubar pet for AI coding agents. It animates in response
to agent lifecycle states such as thinking, reading, implementing, testing,
errored, waiting, and delivery gates.

## What Codogotchi Does

- Shows a small animated pet in the macOS menubar.
- Reacts to Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot for VS Code, and Antigravity.
- Ships with Maew as the default pet.
- Supports AI-generated, community-shared, and hand-drawn pets.
- Uses tiered spritesheets for Codex, Lite-Basic, Lite-Enhanced, and
  Son-of-Anton delivery-gate animation states.

## Installation Summary

Download the macOS app, drag it into Applications, clear the quarantine flag for
the unsigned build, launch Codogotchi, and approve the onboarding flow so it can
install local agent hooks.
